Whenever I'm worried about something I find sinking my needles into a large ball of wool to be the best way of keeping my mind off the worrying thing. So this last week, what with Mum in hospital, there has been a lot of knitting going on!!
I'm finishing off some toys for Mahar Drygoods, a batch for my own shop and a the rose jumper is for a big bunny that I'm hoping to auction off to raise money for a special little girl who needs some specialised treatment in America - more of that by the end of the week.

I love this photo! The rose jumper is absolutely gorgeous. The finished bunny will be very lucky to wear that. I agree that knitting is an excellent way to de-stress. Best wishes to your Mum.

Thanks for the advance notice, I was about to go out shopping today, instead I will save my money to try and help a little girl.

I love to see the way you work...I imagine you sat there, like a little machine, knitting, sewing and stuffing...bringing the pieces to life into the most exquisite creatures, i wonder if I'll ever get the chance to purchase one of them? I know one has to be VERY quick on the draw on the day of sale!

WOW what a lovely stash.
You have been so busy.
We used to have dutch auctions where everyone put their money a pound at a time into a pot and when the predecided total had been reached then that person won. I don't quite know how this would work online though. Best wishes

Speedy recovery wishes and big (but careful) hugs to your mum, I hope she is feeling better every minute. All those gorgeous little pets just waiting to be born and go to their new homes. Can I buy the job lot? ;-) Have you thought about doing accessories (jumpers etc) for bunnies/foxes/pandas/bears and monkies that have already flown your nest? Can't wait for the auction, count me in ! If you listen very carefully you can hear my purse opening right now!
