That looks yummy!

Yum. My blackbird has gone astray moved! I can't believe he was naughty enough to hide in the boxes that went for storage but i live in hope!

Thunderstorms and lightning for the rememberance here...1 very soggy cub and 1 "even my knickers are wet" brownie!

Does scrumped mean nicked? What a perfectly beautiful crust - apple pie is my favorite.

the pie looks fab.
I was so proud of the Brownies at our Remembrance service today as I used to lead them when they were Rainbows. They are our heroes for the future.

oooooo how yummy does that look.
send some down for me please lol.

Mmmmm that apple pie looks delicious!! We've been hiding away from the wind and the wet today, making butter biscuits and watching films. I'll be sad to go back to work tomorrow!!

Thank you for the new addition to my British vocabulary! "Scrump" My husband is from Scotland. I've learned so many more British terms, especially since we had our wee one. Ha! Love reading your blog! Your work is especially wonderful!

I never used to like cooked fruit but when I first fell pregnant I had a thing for apple pies - still love them now mmmmm

We have neighbourly apples too. They're the best!

HA HA! I never even thought of you as an apple scrumper, but since you felt the need to clarify I'm having second thoughts! t.x

wow, your toys went in seconds - well done you. I tried but must have lost out by seconds too. Congrats on such quick sales.

Those apples look deliciously SCRUMPtious to me; are you quite sure you haven't been sneaking out in the night? ;)

I'm rather excited to have just come across your blog! I've just bought your pattern for the knitted cupcakes...................... can't wait to knit those.................... your blog is just wonderful!

I do love a good apple pie. Yours looks yummy.

Apple pie looks lovely, I have 1/2 a bin bag full of apples from a friends garden so need to start making pies!! :)

Hmmmmmm looks yummy. I love warm apple pie on an autumn day. Even better with Vanilla custard.....Heaven!!!

That looks so delish ^_^ Awww, I want some! Mmmm. Apfel Strudel!

Whoops, I think I jut made an empty comment ... so what's new? :-D

That pie looks so lovely - cinnamon is just right for this time of year isn't it? I made a cake with cinammon in it this morning.

The weather is miserable here today - hope it's better where you are.

Hi Julie,

Your pie looks so lovely. I come from a family of orchardists. There is nothing like apple pies in my opinion. Well apples in general really. I like mine at room temperature, even a little warm. Just like they are when you pick them off the tree! Sorry to read about the hassles with the calenders. I was REALLY looking forward to one for Christmas....maybe next year! Jen

Hi, Julie!

Now, THAT is one gorgeous pie! You're just as great at baking as you are at knitting. There's a big bag of apples sitting on the countertop in the kitchen, and you've just inspired me! Jim will be glad to hear it! Love your blog...

Hugs,
Dianne

The little thingie in the middle of it looks kind of interesting. Does it do anything or is it just a cute addition? I am confused! BUT the pie looks yummy!
