Around this time of year there Amy seems to get a lot of party invitations and as I'm not keen on a deluge of plastic dolls on her birthday I always try and give her friends presents that have a use or are fun to do. I'm always on the look out for good present ideas and this year I'm really pleased to have found these which definitely tick all the boxes for me...
The most beautiful hand-carved personalised stamps from the very talented and lovely Magda at Craft Pudding. I know that Amy is thrilled with hers (she's been stamping all of her books and making cards too) and she's really excited to be giving something special to her best friends too.

what a fab idea!

what a great idea - there's nothing better than a really individual gift.

Such a good idea. It's lovely to think of something original and personal, it means so much more.

My daughter loves her, too! And what a great, fabulous idea in coloring it in and finishing the illustration!

What a sweet present =) No doubt Amy's friends' mums are glad to have their daughters receive a nice 'quiet time' toy, too - smiles all round!

They're gorgeous! I like to give 'useful' or creative gifts too - they seem to endure longer than 'ordinary' ones don't they? x

So, two very important questions - If I invite Amy to my party will I get lovely set of stamps?
Do the return presents reflect the quality and originality of the ones you give? (in my experience the deluge of disney plastic is rarely influenced by our rather odd gifts! I mean what boy of 6 or 7 would ever want anything more than a whoopee cushion and a hologram generator!? Batman who? Dr What?) t.xx

Beautiful stamp ^_^ Etsy is so good for that. Full of creative people. Oh, I can't wait for you to fill up your shop full of lovely little badgers :)

What a lovely idea for the stamps. I have to confess to not being a great lover of the whole 'party bag' thing. Sadly they often end up as a big plastic mess, but those stamps are just adorable. I think I know a 'not so little' little girl that would love one of those :D and I have a wonderful Aunt that has rang earlier to enquire over suitable Christmas presents :D

I've ordered a stamp from Craft Pudding & love it also. It's always nice to support other crafters, too.

Love them. I struggle shopping for the endless parties my kids are invited to. You don't want to spend too much money, but it is hopeless buying the same old thing every time. Now I just need to get organised enough to buy before the morning of the party!

This is a lovely idea! I so like Martha's stamps and she made some for me and my chidren, too for special events. I have to keep this in mind for upcoming partys!
Thanks for the hint!
