thank goodness it is safe to wear your glasses again ;-)

Loving your purple work and it is nice to have you back.

Lovely to see you back and love all that purple knitting and yarn. I'm enjoying my new vegetable patch too - there's so much to learn. I've also ordered my chicken coop and run (not clever enough to build one) so there's no going back now!

OOh love the knitting bag goodies! Have missed the updates as well. I would love chickens but don't think now is the right time! Glad to hear that the glasses passed the test!

We have 9 hens and are getting about 4 dozen eggs a week at the moment including white, blue, green, chocolate brown etc. Love the monkey!

It's a purple kind of year! I think it's the amazing Lilac flowers everywhere! t.x

Your knitting is astonishingly gorgeous - the purple is very pretty !!
I've just taken a peek at your 'animals' gallery for the first time and am so in love with your creations - it must be heartbreaking to part with them. I wonder one day whether you'll hold a reunion and bring them all back together, it would be wonderful to see.

I love it when you show peeks into your knitting bag -- s on the needles though , looks a bit big to be for one of your cuties?

Love that you're loving purple!
Your garden is looking great too.

Loving your whimsical bag filled with knitted treasure! Will you knit up a mucky clucky?

Love the purple!!! Nice to see you back!

What happy green, clucky, knitty images! Makes me want to get out and do something. Anything except the ironing I'm dodging while visiting LCR! Love the specs! Your 'mucky clucky's' made me think of my grandmother. She used to call ducklings 'ducky lily's'. Thanks for the memory Julie. Hope you and your family are well. Jen

Love the knitting.

Hens have grown a bit now haven't they?

Your purple monkey is adorable.

Lisa

Julie, do you sew the little shoes on your animals or knit them in? Cannot work this out .... love your work by the way

I love purple, maybe it's contagious? The monkey is lovely, and I'm just wondering... Is that purple scarf beside Ms Monkey a replica of your Rowan Big Wool seed stitch scarf?

Lovely glasses there! Your garden is looking very good too, and as for the chickies - adorable!

I love your purple phase ~ it is not a colour that I would have chosen, being more of a pink girl myself, but your creations look wonderful Julie!

Marie x

the veg plants are coming on really well, and the toys are as fab as ever, not sure the hens are keep on being papped though!

Everythings looking lovely in your garden (and in your knitting bag!)
What have you covered your Linkbord raised beds with? I've just planted mine but want to keep the neighbours cats from using the raised beds as a litter tray!!
Looking forward to seeing some of your finished purple goodies in the future.

I love all your knitting goodies. Nice to have the eyes back isn't it?

Love all that purple. I have been out of the country for a while so missed the egg cosy pattern when I got back. Glad to say found it again today and just ordered it and the cupcake pattern. Thank you very much for making these available. Really enjoy reading your blog and seeing all the beautiful knits. Something to aspire to.

Glad you got some new specs....they look great and as for your knitting bad....well...just makes me jealous!

Sorry....your knitting is NOT bad....meant to say "bag"!....silly me.

I love the purple knits! A lot!

I love those little sun dresses you have made in the tote bag. I am thinking they might fit on a barbie. Some girls I work with are going to do a charity event where we clean and fix up old dolls and barbies. I would love to know how to make the little dresses to bring along for the barbies.
Is there a pattern anywhere I could purchase?
