Earlier in the week the postman brought me a wonderful package from Lilfishstudios containing a little present to myself to celebrate autumn.
It was so beautifully packaged in a vintage sewing pattern bound with twine, with a felted autumn leaf and owlish card as lovely little details.
Inside were pretty muslin bags topped with felt leaves and inside those a collection of gorgeous felted autumny acorns!
I've had my eye on these for a while and they are greatly admired by all here as you can see - I just hope the hodgers don't gobble them up!

I love them and the packaging is brill.I think I might have to order myself some.I just love the hedgehogs too.

Those are lovely. I've looked everywhere for real acorns this year but had no luck at all.
Love the autumn leaf as well.

Oh, I thought you'd made the acorns too! The girls adore their little hedgehogs - you should have heard Tiny Small squeak when she opened hers! Thank you - it was so lovely to see you again.

gorgeous acorns for some gorgeous hodgehegs :o)
I'd love to buy the pattern. Is Etsy the only way to do that? I'm in the UK too so if you have paypal or accept cheques we can exchange in £ instead of $.
(could you confirm using my email link as wordpress doesn't inform me of replies to comments on non-wp sites). Many thanks

Oh look at your hodgers! The middle one looks as though he's having a good sniff. They do look a little peckish and with such lovely tasty-looking acorns on offer they may have a sneaky nibble. I saw one of these little hedgepigs over at DC - it's a very lovely design indeed.

Those acorns are gorgeous and so realistic, the hedgehogs seem to be taking a real interest in them, hope they didn't eat them hehe

Those are so sweet! I went straight to her shop and bought 6 purple acorns for my little acorn collectors. They will go in their stockings this Christmas. Thanks for showing them to us! And your final photo reminded me that I still have your hedgies in my queue. I'm moving them up. They are so adorable and I can't wait to make them.
