I've recently had great difficulty keeping up with all the emails and get many each week about availability of patterns and special orders. So I've put together this page to try and answer some of the most frequently asked questions.
If you do wish to contact me please feel free to - I will do my best to get back to you although it might not be quickly!
"Can I order one of your knitted animals?"
Because demand has exceeded the speed with which I make them I can no longer take on any orders. I also prefer to make each of my animals unique - it keeps it interesting and fun for me and I think it makes each one a little bit special. For now I'll be adding them to my Etsy shop as and when each one is finished and will try and have a few occassional batch sales over on the blog.
"Can I buy your patterns?"
Well yes, at least my cupcake pattern and bunny egg cosy which are available via Etsy. As for the knitted animals I am always working on new ideas and patterns but at the moment most of it is in the form of scribbled notes or in my head and the patterns are constantly evolving. I will keep the blog updated with any developments.
"Where can I buy your knitted things?"
At the moment I sell my knitted things through Etsy. I add them as and when they are finished and will aim at listing a few a week. The animals cost between £22 - £30 (not including postage) depending on the size, design and materials used and cakes are £8 each. I can ship them overseas and take payment via paypal. I will also have occassional batch sales at my own little blog shop. Please leave a comment below if you'd like to be added to my advance email list and receive a notice before new items are listed on the blog.
** Not Toys **
All the items that I create are made from all new materials (merino wool, pure cotton, cashmere, silk and alpaca) in the finest branded yarns from Rowan & Rowan Classic, Sublime, Debbie Bliss, Ecoknits and Blue Sky. The stuffing I use is a high grade carded polyester filling which conforms to British standards: cleanliness BS 1425 and fire safety BS 5852. It is a suitable component of articles requiring BS 5665 and the European standard EN71 and those required to carry the CE logo. There are no detachable small parts or sharp edges on any of my items. Please note however that although my knitted animals are made to a high standard they are intended as decorative and/or collectable items and are not intended as toys for children under the age of 14 years.

I hope you right a book with your patterns.
You have a definite sale here. I'm sure others will agree.

Your site brought back memories of some of the pieces I knitted in times gone by. Some of the classics were an infamous pair of gold lame trousers that stretched inches beyond my feet the first time I wore them, a black, all-in-one catsuit that showed every bump and bubble, and a multi-coloured coat for my daughter to wear to university which stretched to her ankles. Coming across your site has inspired me to take up my knitting needles again, albeit with rather less flamboyant ideas. Please add me to your mailing list. Many thanks.

Posting again to correct my e-mail address. Mother's day is coming up!... How about a mommy & baby?

I would just like to add my support to the comments above. I understand that you are busy and that you take pleasure in creating your animals, however I'm sure that you would bring a great deal of joy to many other knitters in sharing your patterns with the rest of the knitting community. We would not be drawing sales away from your existing business, but would instead be complimenting your endeavours by purchasing your patterns. It would be wonderful to be able to purchase your designs either individually or as part of a book, if you have already sold the rights to them to a publisher.
Please add me to the already numerous people who would love to be able to recreate your wonderful toys for themselves.

I love your toys! There's nothing out there like them. I've been looking at your dolls for awhile now...especially the pandas. Your toys are the reason why I started taking knitting classes. Although I will never be able to do what you do it's been fun learning. I'm finally expecting after a long journey and I would love to have one of your pandas for my baby. I know it'll be "the" doll the baby with have forever. Please add me to your advance email list. Thank you!

Please may I be added to your advance mailing list. I think your creations are amazing with such attention to detail and as a keen crafter myself know the time and patience it takes. As I have recently become a Grandma I am constantly looking for unusual gifts for my darling little grandaughter who I am sure will be delighted with one of your little gems.

Just received pattern for cupcakes. Very well written pattern. I've tried for over 2 years to purchase one of your animals but have never been lucky enough to get one. I hope that in the future you may sell those patterns also.

I stumbled across your site by accident and was completely blown away - I love your knitted animals, your things are just beautiful.

Silly technical question. I realized after the umpteenth viewing of your site that you pretty much have the same page layout as me. I was wondering how you got your picture mosaics to behave (as in your jan 1, 2009 post)?? There's even spacing around each photo and they're uniform in size. I'm playing around with it on my site but am not super-satisfied. Thanks!
Blessings for a Peaceful and Prosperous N.Year!

Julie:
I want to wish you a Happy New Year even though we are half way through the month…
I certainly miss any new updates on your furbabies but I trust you will have something for us all..
I was surfing on the Net and came across this link and the first thing came to mind was you and Toby...
Thought I would send you this link so you can see and maybe that would help you/Toby in a way. Hopefully things have gotten a bit better for you and Toby…

I wanted to send you an email, but I couldn't find your email address on your website. My husband is the MP for Stroud and over the past 8 months we have been co-ordinating knitting for charity, we collected about 10,000 hats for the Save the Children Knit one, Save one campaign and then we knitted Teddy and Clown Mittens for Operation Christmas Child - we produced about 3,000 mittens. Our knitters are very keen to knit for charity. I am trying to find a knitting pattern for a simple child's jumper and I was wondering if you could help me out. We thought we would continue producing things for Operations Christmas Child for next year. The things you have produced on your website are absolutely georgeous.
