How to purchase here

 

I have just finished a batch of animals that are ready for sale. Twelve are being sold on a regular first come first served basis over on Etsy, but as they do sell quite quickly there I'm also listing eight of them below. These eight will be sold by using a random number generator to select a recipient. This gives everyone in different time zones a fair and equal chance of being in with a chance of purchasing over the next 5 days, regardless of internet speed or time zone location. The price is in British pounds and does not include postage (postage is typically £10.45 for USA, £9.05 for Europe and £4.45 for UK - all tracked and signed secure post. You can use an online converter to estimate the cost in your own currency).

To register your interest in buying any of them please just leave a comment on the post of the specific animal that you would like to buy. You can leave comments on as many of the 8 animals as you'd like but to simplify matters please could I ask that you only leave comments on the ones that you would genuinely buy if your name is picked.

I'll close the comments at 12 noon on Monday the 19th of November and use a random number generator to select one name from the comments left on each animal. I'll then contact those picked via email to sort out details.

Update November 19th 2018, 9pm. Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to leave a comment registering their interest in this batch of animals. The random number generator has been used to pick a name for each animal and I've sent emails to each of those it picked. As soon as these are posted off to their new homes I'll be working on the next batch of animals and I'll keep the blog updated with my progress. Atticus

 

 

Price: £44 plus postage and packing

Atticus is hand knitted from one strand of Willow and Lark Plume (70% kid mohair, 30% silk) interwoven with one of Willow and Lark Woodland yarn (50% Merino Wool 25% Alpaca 25% Viscose). His sweater is in 100% cotton yarn in 'straw' and 'cream' and his dungarees are in Scheepjes Catona Denim yarn (100% cotton). His dungarees and sweater can both be removed. He also has a wee small friend in one pocket, also knitted from willow and lark woodland yarn.

He is 11" (27 cms) tall

Atticus is made from all new materials and is stuffed with a high grade carded polyester filling which conforms to British standards of cleanliness BS 1425 and fire safety BS 5852. It is a suitable component of articles requiring BS 5665 and the European standard EN71 and those required to carry the CE logo.

Please note: Although he is made and finished to a high standard he will not withstand rough play or washing and is therefore not suitable for use as a child’s toy. There is also a very small button fastening his sweater which could be a choking hazard.

He is offered for sale as a decorative or collectable item.

Joni is hand knitted from one strand of Rowan Kidsilk Haze (70% kid mohair, 30% silk) interwoven with one of Rowan Kid Classic (70% Wool, 22% Mohair, 8% Polyamide). Her top and shoes are knitted from 100% cotton yarn in 'baby elephant', 'straw' and 'cream', her shorts are in BCGarn Alba (50% linen, 50% cotton) and her cardigan is in The Wool Barn cashmere sock yarn (80% extra fine merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% nylon).

Please note that her knickers and shoes are not removable but her top, shorts and cardigan are fastened with tiny buttons and can be taken off.

She is 11" (27 cms) tall

Stanley is hand knitted from Cascade 220 worsted yarn (100% Peruvian Highland Wool). His sweater is in Jamieson's Spindrift (100% Shetland wool) and his shorts in BCGarn Alliano yarn (50% linen, 50% cotton). His horns and scarf are both in Madelinetosh Vintage yarn. His scarf, shorts and sweater can both be removed.

He is 10" (25 cms) tall
