This little hedgehog family are all hand knitted from Rowan Scottish Tweed DK yarn in 'peat' (100% wool from the Isle of Harris) and Rowan Felted Tweed yarn in 'camel' (Soft merino wool 55%, Alpaca 25%, Viscose 25%). They are firmly stuffed with a high grade carded polyester filling which conforms to British standards of cleanliness BS 1425 and fire safety BS 5852. It is a suitable component of articles requiring BS 5665 and the European standard EN71 and those required to carry the CE logo.

The largest is 12cms (5”) long and 8cms (3”) tall
The middle-sized is 8 cms (3”) long and 5cms (2”) tall
The smallest is 5cms (2”) long and 4cms (1.5”) tall

Although these hedgies  are made and finished to a high standard they are not intended for use as children's toys but offered for sale as a decorative and/or collectable items.

How to 'shop' here...

I have justed finished a batch of animals that are ready for sale. There are 11 of them listed below and I will sell these by using a random number generator to select a recipient. This gives everyone in different time zones a fair and equal chance of being in with a chance of purchasing over the next 5 days. The price is in British pounds and does not include postage (you can use an online converter to estimate the cost in your own currency).

To be in with a chance of buying please just leave a comment on the animal that you would like to buy. You can leave comments on as many different animals as you'd like but to simplify matters please could I ask that you only leave comments on the ones that you would genuinely like to buy.

I'll draw names on Monday the 19th of November using a random number generator and then contact those picked via email to sort out details.

Flossie is hand knitted from Misti Alpacas Best of Nature yarn (100% naturally dyed baby alpaca). Her dress and shoes are knitted from Quince and Co. Sparrow yarn (100% organic natural linen) and her knickers are in Rowan 100% cotton 4ply. Please note that her shoes and knickers are not removable but her dress is fastened with a tiny button and can be taken off.

Franklyn

Franklyn is hand knitted from Rowan silky tweed yarn (70% lambswool, 30% silk). His sweater is in 'tear' and 'sage' Rowan 4ply 100% cotton are his shorts in BCGarn Alliano yarn (50% linen, 50% cotton). His shorts are attached but his sweater can be removed.

He is 8.5" (23 cms) tall
