Many thanks to everyone who visited the shop tonight and apologies again to everyone who tried to buy and was beaten to it.

I've noted the couple of frustrated emails from people who have tried several times and failed. Unfortunately the demand completely outstrips my ability to supply and I have thought long and hard about the fairest way to sell the toys. I will think again about putting a few on etsy but similarly that's down to potluck as I can't set an exact time for listing them so it's just down to who is in the right place at the right time. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know as I'll happily consider anything apart from taking orders which is not a happy option for me, and not ebay as I loathe them and wouldn't want bidding to exceed a fair price for the toys.

Mirabelle

Mirabelle is hand knitted from 'herdwick' Rowan Classic Yarns Baby Alpaca DK (100% pure baby alpaca) and 'talc' Jaeger Aqua yarn (100% mercerised cotton). Her jumper is 100% cotton 4ply, in 'Aubergine' with an 'orchid' butterfly and can be removed.

She is 7.5" (19 cms) high

A note about the yarn:
Alpaca yarn has a smooth, non irritating feel and is lighter and softer than Cashmere, while being stronger, warmer and much more durable than wool. The fibre is free from lanolin and dander making it hypoallergenic, perfect for those with wool allergies and babies. Its unique nature makes each item less likely to pill or wrinkle, and it is naturally flame retardant and water repellant too!
