Britta

Price: £29 plus postage

Britta is hand knitted from Sublime organic merino yarn (100% organic merino wool) and Berroco Blackstone Tweed yarn (65% Wool, 25% Superkid Mohair, 10% Angora) . Her clothes are in 'bloom', 'cream' and 'fennel' Rowan 4ply cotton (100% cotton). Please note that her shoes and tights are not removable but her dress is fastened with a tiny button and can be taken off.

She is 8" (21 cms) tall

Britta is made from all new materials and is stuffed with a high grade carded polyester filling which conforms to British standards of cleanliness BS 1425 and fire safety BS 5852. It is a suitable component of articles requiring BS 5665 and the European standard EN71 and those required to carry the CE logo.

Although she is made and finished to a high standard she will not withstand rough play or washing and is therefore not suitable for use as a child’s toy. There is also a very small button fastening her dress which could be a choking hazard. She is offered for sale as a decorative and/or collectable item.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to leave a comment on the latest batch. I've drawn names and posted the results below. Just to let you know there will be another batch before christmas with traditional nordic designs and wintery attire and I'm planning a giveaway too so will keep you posted about that. Her dress and shoes are 100% cotton 4ply, in 'orchid', and her tights are in 50% cotton 50% linen yarn in 'smoke' and 'ash'. Please note that her shoes are not removable but her dress is fastened with a tiny button and can be taken off.
