I was flattered to find myself tagged recently by Linda at Two Pink Possums. I've never been tagged before so here goes (bang goes my reputation as a woman of any taste - you're about to discover I have a deep nerdy streak running through me!!)
4 jobs I've had
1. Freelance Illustrator
2. Marketing Manager for a photographic library
3. Ad sales Manager for antiques magazine
4. packing tipex bottles on a machine line (as a student)
4 movies I could watch over and over
1. Saddest - Truly, Madly, Deeply - Never fails to make me cry at the end
2. Best Sci-fi - The Abyss - I like the idea of all-powerful, friendly aliens living at the bottom of the sea!
3. Most chilling - Coma. Because it could really happen.
4. Most epic - Lord of the Rings Trilogy - give me an urn of tea and my knitting bag and I'd happily sit and watch them back to back - I still love a good fairytale!
4 places I have lived (apart from where I am now)
1. Reading, Berkshire
2. Hull, Humberside
3. London - various places
4. Farnham, Surrey
4 TV shows I love (Nothing current - mostly watching re-runs / dvds or listening to music these days)
1. Northern Exposure - my favourite ever, fabulously weird plotlines and gently funny
2. Green Wing - off the wall, rude and a bit infantile but made me laugh lots all the same
3. Star Trek Voyager - now you know I’m a nerd!
4. Charlie & Lola - Love 'Lola-speak' it reminds me of how Amy spoke at 4 'I will not ever wear a schooliform' perfect!
4 places I have been for a vacation
1. English Lake District - serious roughing it in tents, pints of real ale and lots of walking
2. Europe - France, Spain, Italy, Germany on the back of a motorbike - sore bum but lots of fun
3. Paris - a romantic weekend
4. Santa Fe, USA - combined business trip and holiday - fab place
4 websites I visit daily
1. Flickr - checking out everyone’s photos
2. my blog’s ‘creative sites l like to look at list’ - catching up with everyone’s week
3. hotmail - for my email
4. google - whenever I need to find anything
4 favourite foods
1. cheese
2. tomatoes
3. coffee cake
4. wine - ok not a food but life wouldn’t be the same without it!
4 places I would rather be
1. New Zealand - love those wide open spaces
2. Yosemite National Park - love those Ansell Adams photos
3. English Lake District - feels like home
4. Tuscany, Italy - great food, wine and beautiful countryside
4 people I am tagging
Rebecca (Irish Craftworker)
Alice (Raspberry)
Zoe (Zoe's knitting bag)
Ali (Domesticali)
Note to the above: I suspect that none of you ladies are as nerdy as me, and if you'd rather remain enigmatic I won't be offended in the slightest if you don't take up the 'meme'.
On a knitting note, I have finished my first monkey - I'm happy at last with the pattern and have decided that a tail is necessary. Now he has his jumper this one is off to Zoe but there will be several in the shop sometime in the new year. Also pics of 2 girls just finished.

Julie, I'm so pleased you have 'tagged' me, I will do this later when I'm not building Ikea cupboards (ergh.....), and I think you will find I am a nerd!!!

I have an Uncle in Reading, funny thing he is, he told everyone he lived in Henley .... ha ha ha.
One of my all time favourite shows was Northern Exposure. Like you I loved the quirkiness of it all and I was pregnant too, which made me a little quirky so there was much to relate to.
What a very cute monkey, I do love his tale.

LOVE YOUR MONKEY! He is just so cute, especially with his little tail! Little 'Miss Sunshine' is gorgeous too. Northern Exposure was so fab, I used to watch it religiously. CH has asked for a Monkey for Christmas, she says its for 'Little C' because she deserves a present too!

The recipient will love the monkey and I love your choice of jumper. So festive. Thank you so much for fitting me in before Christmas. Love the new bunnies too.
Oh, I've been tagged too (always secretly wanted to be)! I'll try to do this tomorrow. Your answers are vey interesting and not at all nerdy. :D

Charming little monkey!! He's got a sweet face :) I love Northern Exposure too. I think Marilyn is one of the best characters to ever be on TV (and Ruth Ann - big fan of hers!)

I popped into Raspberry and saw she been tagged, and tought 'lucky thing, that looks fun', then came here and horray, I've been 'tagged' too ... er, what does 'tagged' actually mean?!
I was in flickr and saw that lovely white bunny, I made her a favourite of mine.
