Well now I have to buy the magazine!! Well deserved plaudits. Glad the hedge is doing well.

WELL DONE JULIE! I am taking the baby out right now to pick up the magazine AND stop by the bakery for a yummy cupcake!

Cake - the breakfast of champions!

My boys are following your reports on the hedgehog. So good to hear that he is doing so well.

Good news about Herbie and the ticks, your doing a good job there, lucky little hedgehog to have been resuced by such a caring family. Congrats on the cake mention and congrats on your 1st year of blogging. That must mean that my 1st year is nearly up, must check it out.

Definitely going to get Prima this month. That kitchen is to die for. I have dreams of mine looking like that but they never materialise LOL.

Glad to hear that the hedgehog is doing well. I will dash out an buy Period Living - how great to get a well-deserved mention.

herbie is SO cute! any plans for a knitted hedgehog? :)

congrats on the mention! awesome!

wow how exciting to see your own stuff in a magazine when you are least expecting it.

Congratulations

Good to see Herbie is doing well! Congratulations on the mentioning in the magazine!

Herbie is SO cute!! I'm happy he's doing so well...

How fun to be in print! congrats. It's a cute pix! and so glad Master Hogwart is thriving. It was the highlight of my trip this summer to stop the car so a hedgehog could cross safely!

Ooops. Not read that properly. I was going out to buy Prima and it is Period Living LOL. That will teach me for clicking on another link (it was your link to Donna) and reading their blog mentioning Prima, then coming back and replying to yours.

My first visit to your blog. You have made so many lovely, inspiring things. I feel envious, you seem like a very talented lady! My father-in-law has a tame (wild) hedgehog in his garden. When we go fishing, we bring him fish and he comes into the house.

Had a look at the mag in Waitrose today - great publicity, well done! Also well done on bringing up a healthy hedgehog - must be such fun watching him grow.

You are doing such a job on Herbie! If you run out of slugs I'm your woman - got a garden full, happy to donate, will deliver, go on have them, go on - please ;)

Hi Julie sweetpea. I came over to tell you to look at PL if you haven't done so already but I see you have :-) I'm only too glad to give you a well deserved mentioned. I adore my cakes as you well know and they are a prominent feature in my kitchen. I might just need another one soon. My two children have gone to bed hugging their bunnies tonight as well! Hope you are keeping well.

Glad your little hedgehog is doing better :) And you deserve a mention in a magazine with your amazing designs, they are scrumptious looking!

Congrats Julie with your super little cakes in the magazine! So deserving. And good show with herbie...he looks quite happy! Sweet thing he is! Congrats again dear blogger friend.

You are also in Knitting magazine in the blog reviews. Well done!!!
Sara

Hi, this is my first visit to your blog. I love your knitted creations, they are really gorgeous :-)

Oh no - now everyone will want one and your inbox will be filling up! Your knitting is just too good!! I hope hoglet is doing well and making loads of piggy-grunty sounds - too cute.

I was reading Period Living yesterday and recognised your cakes straight away as I've been following your blog recently. Donna's home was my favourite in that issue. I think your knitting is such good quality and wish you good luck rearing the hedgehog.

I have just been in our local shop and bought a copy of the magazine - you should be very proud! In fact you are in there twice as you are on the contents page too!!
I think you should start knitting hedgehogs in honour of hoglet...

Congrats on your deservedly famous cakes! (I was going to put buns, but thought that could just all go horribly wrong). I've not read Period Living, must go and have a look next time I am lingering by the magazine counter ...

Herbie looks lovely - life at your house obviously suits him!
